Horrible headache all day today. I was going to go see Indy 4, but the thought of even looking at a big screen movie made me slightly nauseated. :-( I did read some. I bought a BUNCH of books at the opening of the new B&N in Hurst. Finished "The Decoy Princess" by Dawn Cook and started the sequel "Princess at Sea." The print was pretty small, so I couldn't read that much due to the aforementioned headache.

Did I get any work done on my new proposals? No. *sigh* I'm having a hard time committing to one of two ideas. One I think will be a very nice follow up to the last book, but I'm having to work out some plot details, since the original idea wasn't a paranormal... or a YA, but that's less of a problem. The other is a completely new idea, but needs work on the magic system.

Tim rented Superbad, which was... interesting. I laughed my head off at some parts and just... listened in slack jawed amazement to other parts. Good lord.

I have discovered that my husband owns 25 long sleeve button down shirts. Twenty-Five. He has ten short sleeve casual shirts and six golf shirts. What an astounding thing. If I neglected to do laundry for a month, he would not run out of shirts.

I discovered this because when I went to iron a shirt of my own, I found eleven shirts hanging in the sewing/laundry/ironing room. (I'll wash shirts, but ever since I injured my hand, I can't iron much at all.) And I had to wonder, if all these shirts are down here, why is he still taking up so much of the closet? So I went upstairs and saw that he has an equal number of shirts there. Holy smoke.

Granted, 80% of my wardrobe is tee and sweatshirts and sweaters. (I have one nice fall outfit and one nice spring outfit. It's actually a little sad and I'm going to have to do something about that soon.) But still. Twenty five shirts.

Catching up with the journal a bit. Hoping to catch up on some other stuff, if rclementmoore would cut me some slack with her deadlines and committments. (Currently it's judging a RWA writing contest. One more entry to do. Yay!)

Terminator (the first one!) is on the TV as I'm typing this. I had forgotten how much I love this movie. I love the second one, too, but I'm actually pretty amazed how much this one stands up to time, considering the fashions and music are so dated. I once had this thing almost memorized, but I haven't watched it in years. Michael Biehn! I'd forgotten how much I loved him in this. "Come with me if you want to live." What a great pick up line. :D

You know, James Cameron has not directed nearly as much as I thought he has. Feature film wise, anyway. I love T1, T2, the Abyss, Aliens (on my top ten movies EVER list) and even True Lies (a flawed but fun movie).

Putting my dorky stuff here. BOY am I procrastinating getting to work this morning. :P

But I deserved a drink, because I did ALL my Christmas shopping today. 9-5 in the stores, baby.

ALso, I'm watching that 90's animated X-Men cartoon on TV right now, and it makes me remember how much I loved the comics. I still have a LOT of comics in the closet. I need to get them out, because I promised I'd dig out my Fathom comics (Top Cow, not Marvel) for a friend of mine.

Is there really any tactful way to tell your spouse that he's really past the point in his sartorial life where horizontal stripes are his friends, and in fact they have now crossed over to the other side and should be shot on sight as traitors?

Or perhaps the simpler thing would be if that particular shirt met with a horrible washing machine accident.
